BAA Aberdeen Airport – one of the world’s busiest commercial heliports

As well as a hugely important heliport, supporting the North Sea oil and gas industries, Aberdeen Airport is also BAA Scotland’s fastest growing airport. Aberdeen Airport is easily accessible by car, train, bus or taxi. Located just 7 miles from Aberdeen city centre, the airport can be found just off the A96 Inverness road. At the airport you’ll find a choice of long or short stay parking, both located to the front of the terminal building.

 

Buses run from the airport to Aberdeen city centre. The nearest train station is Dyce, from where it’s a short taxi ride to the airport, and the nearest mainline station is Aberdeen. Taxis are also available from the front of the terminal building.

 

Once inside the airport, you’ll discover a wide range of shops and restaurants to enjoy before your flight. For those travelling on business, there are pre-bookable lounges available, and internet access is available at several points within the terminal building.
