Cala d’Or

With its sleek marina, car-free streets of craft shops and boutiques; together with the delicious aromas emanating from the al fresco restaurants and cafes - it’s surprising anyone actually makes it to the beach. But when they do - it is delight to explore – with seven golden sandy coves of pine trees and rocky headlands. Cala D’Or is one of the most beautiful areas on Majorca’s pretty east coast. Perfect for couples and families with children’s play areas with trampolines, windsurfing, tennis, golf and bicycles for hire. There are daily boat cruises from the old marina. The nightlife is low-key with some excellent sea food restaurants.
