Palma

This cosmopolitan city, and capital of the island, stretches around a lovely bay. It has a busy, modern promenade and everything one would expect of a fine old city - museums, art galleries, designer boutiques, and a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

The harbour and old town’s narrow streets are home to stunning architecture reflecting a diverse heritage including its origins as an Arab settlement, and there is an incredible Gothic cathedral.Bellver Castel is nearby. Palma is a great place in which to spend a day or to take a short break.
