Los Cristianos

A sophisticated, lively modern resort in southern Tenerife with a busy harbour and pavement cafes, Los Cristianos is one of the most popular resorts in Tenerife. Formerly a quaint fishing village, the resort has maintained a little of its original architecture whilst becoming a thriving holiday resort, with a relaxed atmosphere. There is a wide sandy beach, fantastic watersports and a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants. The main beach is man-made, with lovely golden sands which shelve gently into the crystal clear waters, making it particularly suitable for young children. Nightlife is limited to a few bars and discos but Playas de la Americas in only short taxi ride away.  From Los Cristianos, daily boat trips visit the unspoilt island of La Gomera. Los Cristianos is a great choice for families and couples.
